परिचय / Introduction
2005 में जन्मा T-24, जिसे स्थानीय लोग "उस्ताद" कहते हैं, रणथंभौर का सबसे प्रसिद्ध बाघ रहा है। / Born in 2005, T-24, popularly known as “Ustad”, was one of the most famous tigers of Ranthambore.
यह बाघ T-20 (झुमरू) और T-22 (गायत्री) की संतान था। / He was the offspring of tiger T-20 (Jhumroo) and tigress T-22 (Gayatri).
लगभग 9 वर्षों तक उसने रणथंभौर के जंगलों पर राज किया। / For nearly 9 years, he ruled over the forests of Ranthambore.
क्यों था खास? / Why was he special?

उस्ताद की आदतें अन्य बाघों से अलग थीं। / Ustad’s behavior was unlike other tigers.

वह शिकार को सड़क तक खींच लाता और खुलेआम खाता। / He often dragged his prey onto the road and ate in full public view.

इंसानों को देखकर भागता नहीं था। / Unlike most tigers, he didn’t shy away from humans.

उसकी शाही चाल और साहस ने हर किसी का ध्यान खींचा। / His majestic presence and courage fascinated everyone.
विवादों में क्यों आया? / Why did he become controversial?
8 मई 2015 को उसने वन रक्षक रामपाल सैनी पर हमला कर दिया। / On 8th May 2015, he attacked and killed forest guard Rampal Saini.
पहले भी 2010 और 2012 में दो ग्रामीणों और एक वनरक्षक की मौत उससे जोड़ी गई थी। / Earlier, in 2010 and 2012, two villagers and another guard were reportedly killed by him.
स्थानीय लोगों का कहना था कि उसका स्वभाव आक्रामक होता जा रहा था। / Locals claimed his behavior was becoming increasingly aggressive.
क्या बना उसे "आदमीखोर"? / What made him a “Man-eater”?
विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार बार-बार tranquilization और इलाज ने उसकी प्राकृतिक प्रवृत्ति बदल दी। / Experts believe repeated tranquilization and medical treatments disturbed his natural instincts.
परिवार से कई बाघों के हटाए जाने ने भी असर डाला। / The removal of several tigers from his family structure also affected his behavior.
क्यों किया गया स्थानांतरण? / Why was he relocated?
2015 की घटना के बाद भारी दबाव में उसे 16 मई 2015 को रणथंभौर से हटाकर उदयपुर भेजा गया। / After the 2015 incident, under public pressure, he was shifted on 16th May 2015 from Ranthambore to Udaipur.
रणथंभौर के 5000 हेक्टेयर जंगलों का राजा अब 1 हेक्टेयर से भी कम क्षेत्र में सीमित हो गया। / The ruler of 5000 hectares was now confined to less than a hectare enclosure.
